How it works
How Qualifier fits into your hiring
You keep your job board, your applicant tracking and your interviews. Qualifier takes the stretch in between: the part where hundreds of applications turn into a ranked shortlist.
- YouApplications arrive as they do todayYour job board and careers inbox stay exactly as they are.
- QualifierEvery applicant is interviewed and scoredBy voice, at a time they choose, against your questions.
- YouYou meet the ranked shortlistYour team decides who goes forward and who is hired.
8 steps
From a CV in your inbox to a ranked shortlist.
Each step says who does it and shows the piece of the product you will see.
Step 1 of 8You
Post the job and approve the questions
Nothing changes for your recruiters or your job board. You paste the job description and approve the questions, the KPIs they test and the pass mark for each.
Qualifier suggests technical, general and culture-fit questions. You edit them and add your own.
What you see Step 2 of 8You
Forward applications from your careers inbox
A forwarding rule on your careers inbox sends each application to Qualifier. It is a two-minute change on your side.
Qualifier checks the rule with a test message before the campaign goes live.
What you see Step 3 of 8Qualifier
Every candidate gets their own link
As each application arrives, Qualifier emails the candidate a personal link in your company's name. It works for that person only.
The email tells them up front that the call is with a voice AI, and that it is recorded.
What the candidate gets Step 4 of 8Qualifier
They choose a time and how to talk
The candidate picks a call time, then decides to talk in the browser or take a phone call. Missed calls are retried and rescheduled by the rules you set.
They also answer a few qualifying questions, such as right to work. An answer that needs checking is flagged for your team to confirm. Nobody is rejected automatically.
What the candidate sees Step 5 of 8Qualifier
A voice AI interviews them
At the time they chose, the interviewer opens by saying the call is recorded, then asks your questions and follows up on what the candidate says.
The recording and transcript are stored with the candidate's consent.
What you see Step 6 of 8Qualifier
Each answer is scored against your KPIs
Every KPI gets its own score, with the moment in the transcript that supports it. The dark mark on each bar is the pass mark you set.
If a result is uncertain, it is flagged for a person to read.
What you see Step 7 of 8You
A person reviews what is flagged
Low-confidence scores and qualifying answers that need checking wait in a review queue. Your team reads the evidence and confirms or changes the result.
An override is kept separately from the model's score, with who made it and why.
What you see Step 8 of 8Qualifier
The top group moves on, and you get a ranked shortlist
When a round closes, the candidates who clear your pass mark move to the next round automatically. The number of rounds and the cut-off are yours to set.
You end with a ranked shortlist, ready to interview, filter or export.
What you see
What stays in your hands
Qualifier screens. People decide.
The first call is automated. Every decision that affects a candidate is still made by your team.
- Who moves forward and who is hired
- Scores rank candidates. They never reject anyone on their own.
- The questions and the pass marks
- You approve every question, the KPI it tests and the mark that counts as a pass.
- Flagged results
- Uncertain scores go to a review queue, and your team can override any of them.
- Right to work and similar answers
- These are flagged for your team to confirm. They never end an application by themselves.
- How long data is kept
- You choose the retention period. Candidates can ask for deletion from their own link.
